Neukoln - Oct. 28

As I walked the streets of Neukoln, I felt an extreme heaviness.  Since I started prayer-walking I hadn't felt such a feeling.  It seemed to me that there was almost no presence of the Lord in Neukoln.  I passed a woman and felt a quickening that she was a witch and the Holy Spirit told me to look into her eyes.  I did and I felt a bodily effect from doing that.  In fact I felt such a heaviness within that it produced weakness and rapid heart-beat.  I found "the park" in the sense that the Holy Spirit almost always lead me to a park.  Beyond the park was a youth center where I felt the Holy Spirit wanted me to pray.  There were lots of boys playing basketball.  After that I came to another park that was very enchanting.  It was called Korner Park and the sign said it was built in 1912.
In this park I prayed for the joy to come, for the spirit to fall and for playing, dancing and families to gather in His presence.  I passed a building that was full of only men playing cards.  There were a lot of men and kids on the streets but not too many women.  The women I did see all looked anorexic for some reason.

A couple of weeks after this prayer walk, I was talking to a fellow Berliner and telling him about my experiences in Neukoln and he said that he asked someone, "Where is the darkest place in Berlin?' and that person answered, "Neukoln".  For me this was a sweet confirmation from the Lord for what I felt in my body and spirit on that day.
