Treptower Park - Oct. 31

Besides the vast green, the beautiful river and flower gardens, the prominent feature of Treptower park is the Soviet War Memorial  built to commemorate the 50,000 Soviet soldiers who fell in the Battle of Berlin in April - May 1945.  It was opened four years after the war ended on May 8, 1949.
We had always felt a darkness in this part of the park and three years ago we took a YWAM team from Norway to worship, pray and declare that the Kingdom Of Jesus reigns over the place.

On this day I walked further behind the memorial and found a beautiful lake that I never knew was there!  It was a  delight to see.
It was the most beautiful of Fall days here in Berlin.  The sky was blue, the leaves were spectacular with their golds, reds and yellows.  What a God we serve!  It was a joy to praise Him in this place and to intercede for the people He loves.
